Boca Del Rio—recommended location.
All of the locations we found for our POLICE PRECINCT will work, and I’d feel lucky to shoot in any of them. The reason I’m recommending this one, and what I want to encourage us to base our decision on, is the character of the location. The story works in any of them. But the character of this place feels like it’s another thing we can do to help the story—and the campaign—stand out.
There’s our SKETCH ARTIST, with his hand in the bag, sitting across from the VICTIM. And flanking the desk would be a concerned POLICE OFFICE and an UNDERCOVER COP.
The LONG PUSH-IN would start about here, and continue until…
…landing in our MEDIUM.
And, like ALL of the locations in the campaign, this one helps the BAG to truly stand out. I think the character of this place, and the next two, also offer a kind of warmth to the precinct, as opposed to the cold, sterility that of-the-moment, contemporary places are guilty of. The background depth also lends weight to this spot.
